Jacqui is a cyber security leader with more than 25 years of international experience across IT, cyber security, and cybercrime. She is the CEO and Founder of the Australian Women in Security Network (AWSN), a national not‑for‑profit dedicated to building a diverse, intersectional, and inclusive security workforce by connecting, supporting, educating, and inspiring individuals from all backgrounds.
Having worked across government, critical infrastructure, financial services, and multinational organisations throughout Europe and Australia, Jacqui brings deep expertise spanning technical security, risk management, data protection, and security behaviour. Her career includes high‑profile projects for the European Commission, UK Government, NHS, and major financial institutions.
A recognised industry influencer and advocate, Jacqui has received numerous national and international awards for her leadership in shaping an inclusive security ecosystem. She serves on several advisory committees, including those focused on strengthening Australia’s cyber workforce, supporting small businesses, and advancing global diversity and inclusion in security.
Passionate about making cyber security accessible to all, Jacqui is a vocal champion for women, career changers, sovereign capability, and the many intersections of diversity that strengthen the security profession. She regularly speaks on workforce development, inclusive leadership, and the human side of security.
